Glassfish Liferay JPA Hibernate tutorial

Here are the steps to get Liferay running on Glassfish with support for JPA and Hibernate as provider.

Note that this is a production ready configuration (excluding of course security concerns not covered here). I am not using a Liferay bundle but rather the standalone 5.2.3 WAR is deployed in a running Glassfish 3 Prelude AS. I am also using JNDI to locate the JDBC Pool.
