Basically: (From Java Perspective, Menu | Run | Debug Configurations | Remote Java Application | Right click and select New | give it a name like "Local" | set Host like localhost | Port like 8000 | click Debug. From that moment on the option will be available when clicking the bug icon arrow)Nestor Urquizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12351754666722274569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37642571.post-13147083506538001312013-06-10T07:35:43.897-07:002013-06-10T07:35:43.897-07:00How do I get eclipse debugger to recognize code ch...How do I get eclipse debugger to recognize code changes that I can get to hot deploy on an external server running on the same machine as the IDE with the JRebel agent in its JAVA_OPTS.Abysshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04176627543946998639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37642571.post-26033874733567302152012-06-11T09:10:56.391-07:002012-06-11T09:10:56.391-07:00@Anton You are correct. It is just a matter of setting the correct path in rebel.xml<br /><br />However, if the application server is located at remote host, the for sure - the remoting plugin is designed specifically for this kind of environments.<br /><br />Enjoy! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11951065633319406772noreply@blogger.com
